Due to the current Covid-19 (Corona virus) crisis Clipstone Parish Council has cancelled all scheduled Parish Council meetings until further notice. We will keep you informed when and how meetings will resume.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that three vacancies exist in the office of Parish Councillor for Clipstone Parish Council - Clipstone Ward.
The vacancies have arisen due to the resignation of councillors A Thompson and their term of office would have ordinarily expired in May 2023.
An election to fill the vacancies will be held if within 14 days* from the date below, TEN electors who are on the Register of Electors at an address in the Clipstone Parish - Clisptone Ward, give notice in writing claiming such election to:-

Please note: pursuant The Local Government and Police and Crime Commissioner (COronavirus)(Postponement of Elections and Referendums)(England and Wales) Regulations 2020, s. 6 no elections will be held until May 2021.
If no such notice is given, The Returning Officer will notify the Parish Council, who may then fill the vacancies by co-option.

Welcome to the Clipstone Parish Council website designed to give you information about the work of the council and signpost you to other organisations and agencies providing services in the village of Clipstone, including Cavendish Park estate.
Clipstone Parish Council is made up of 9 elected councillors.
The full Parish Council meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month except August when there is no meeting and December when it is the third Wednesday. The agenda for each meeting is posted Here but also displayed in the local library and on the three Council notice boards. These are situated outside the Village Hall on Church Road, outside the Cooperative store on Mansfield Road and on Cavendish estate.
Clipstone Parish Hall has a large refurbished meeting room for hire. It has plenty of room for seating approximately thirty people in comfort. Ideal for AGMs, art classes, training sessions, small parties, bingo, card games, food demonstrations, etc. Value for money at only £8 per hour to hire, which includes use of an adjourning fully equipped kitchen.

The Parish Office is in the Village Hall on Church Road and is run by the Parish Clerk. Opening hours are as follows:
